The "Orthodox Church in Italy" is NOT a canonical organization in the sense that it is not part of the Eastern Orthodox communion. This is evidenced by its relationship with the (also non-canonical) Montegrin and Macedonian groups, as well as with the "Kiev Patriarchate." It is unrecognized by all the ancient Patriarchates, the Russian Church, etc. Accordingly, I've removed the reference to its status as canonical. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shinkage (talkcontribs) 19:35, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

As somebody else has written here, this church is not recognised by the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. Shouldn't that be written? I think this article is not neutral (read: NPOV and should be marked as non-neutral. --Sp!ros (talk) 19:57, 12 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is the page of the "Orthodox Church in Italy", which is different from the "Orthodox Church of Italy". If someone is interested to the latter jurisdiction, please create another page. I am the legal representant of the Orthodox Church in Italy and we do not want to be confused with other churches. — Preceding unsigned comment added by VerismoSiciliano (talkcontribs)
